Where Altitude Meets Excellence

The Serra da Mantiqueira is a distinguished mountain range in southeastern Brazil, spanning the states of São Paulo, Minas Gerais, and Rio de Janeiro. Its high elevations — reaching up to 9,180 feet (2,800 meters) — and unique microclimate make it one of the country’s most prized coffee-producing regions.

Renowned for consistently yielding exceptional Arabica coffees, this origin has earned global recognition among specialty buyers and roasters. Its combination of climate, altitude, and volcanic soil creates the perfect environment for coffees with complexity, balance, and sweetness.

Our coffee is grown in São Sebastião da Grama, a picturesque town nestled in the heart of the Serra da Mantiqueira. Located at elevations ranging from 3,280 to 3,940 feet (1,000 to 1,200 meters), this micro-region offers the ideal terroir for producing high-quality Arabica beans.

Recognized as part of the Vale da Grama origin, our region is celebrated for its fertile volcanic soil, ideal altitude, and consistently mild climate — all of which contribute to coffees with clean profiles, balanced acidity, and distinctive sweetness.

When the rains come in waves, like they did in 2024, the trees respond with multiple blooms. Sometimes two or even three times in a single season.
